With Disney’s purchase of Fox, and the introduction of the multiverse, seeing the universe X-Men and Fantastic 4 has become a reality. With the multiverse, the MCU gets rid of the plothole of asking where characters were during other movies. The MCU can use the multiverse in these ways to bring in the X-Men and Fantastic 4.
